Going through hard times for any length of time brings an intimacy and time with God that inspire many to ask God for something. Since I rededicated my life to Christ as an adult one of my constant petitions is for understanding. On every occasion especially when I embraced and accepted God's plan and purpose for my life and direction for my path I find it. I also find a greater love and appreciation for my heavenly Father. Many seek for blessing, love, acceptance and provision from the One who admonishes us to seek to understand.

10The reverent fear and worship of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom and skill [the preceding and the first essential, the prerequisite and the alphabet]; a good understanding, wisdom, and meaning have all those who do [the will of the Lord]. Their praise of Him endures forever.
