I began working jobs where the taxes are taken out
at the age where most girls stop playing dolls.
My foster father's insight into my gift for writing
has led to a career in doing something I love more
so much when people tell me I work too much
I have no idea what they mean.
Writing, sharing the stories with you and reading
provide me joy, satisfaction and fun.
My super hero Dad worked hard and played hard too.
As we celebrate enjoying the fruits of our labor my hope
is you have a great time reflecting on what you've contributed
to our great country with all the work you do.
